Wendat Seniors Residence

Wendat Senior’s Residence is a new 20,000sf 23-bed facility in Penetanguishene, Ontario. This “Not-for-profit” facility will service 28 persons annually as well as provide non-resident meal programming and structured day programming.

Construction scheduling was manipulated to suit the Owner’s funding with the site clearing and site servicing, including stormwater retention ponds, beingcompleted in late 2013, with building foundations/basement done in late 2014, and the balance of the building being done in 2015.

The wood framed single story structure is completed with stone and brick exterior, vinyl windows, and aluminum entrance doors. Interior finishes include drywall, paint, VCT flooring, ceramic tile, millwork and a full-service kitchen with walk-in cooler/freezer and gas range with fire suppression exhaust hood.
