J.J. McGuire was contracted to perform all civil work for this project. The site was developed in three quadrants and included extensive site work, concrete work, and the design-build of two new Relay Buildings with incoming cables and relay switching gear.

The existing grades were stripped over several acres to design elevations and access roads were constructed. Storm water management systems were installed including main drainage as well as preformed trenches complete with weepers throughout.

The design-build relay buildings implemented tilt wall construction with hollow core suspended slabs to accommodate incoming cables and relay switching gear.J.J. McGuire self performed all concrete work including 1,100 caisson for Hydro towers, two transformer spill pits, two holding tanks and leaching pits for potential overflow.

Included in our scope was the supply and Installation of 8-foot fencing complete with gates to the entire perimeter of the 35-acre site.
