Gerdau Ameristeel Whitby

Located in Whitby, Ontario, Gerdeau Ameristeel plant is one of the largest concrete reinforcing steel fabricators in North America, producing a range of recycled steel products for use across multiple industries. The facility operates as part of Gerdeau’s global network of steel mills and downstream processing locations.

J.J.McGuire completed several upgrade projects at the Gerdeau Whitby plant, self-performing all civil work across the various scopes. Operating within the constraints of an active industrial facility, J.J.McGuire maintained strict project schedules throughout, completing each phase of work on time using its own forces.
